TTC Tour Brands has appointed Kelly Walker as sales director for the UK, Ireland and Europe, starting next January.
She moves from her role as head of distribution at easyJet Holidays and will be responsible for the UK, Irish and European sales teams for the TTC Tour Brands portfolio: Contiki, Trafalgar, Costsaver, Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold.
Walker joined easyJet Holidays in September 2022 after roles with villa specialist Oliver’s Travels and previously James Villas.
She will report to EMEA managing director Kelly Jackson, who said: “With a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the travel industry, Kelly will play a pivotal role in driving our strategy and growth forward as we continue to strengthen our position in the market.
“Kelly brings a deep understanding of the travel industry, having held key leadership positions in sales throughout her career.
“Her expertise and insights into the ever-evolving travel landscape make her a valuable addition to the TTC Tour Brands family.
“I am excited about Kelly joining us and the positive impact she will have on TTC Tour Brands.
“Her strategic vision, customer-centric approach, and passion for the travel industry align perfectly with our company’s vision.
“Kelly is set to be the dynamic driving force behind our efforts to elevate our relationships with our valued trade partners.”
Walker will take on the role previously held by Becky Francis, who left in August to join Quark Expeditions in September.
Roy Stratford, head of commercial partnerships at easyJet Holidays, added: “We’d like to greatly thank Kelly for evolving our trade proposition through this period of key growth at easyJet holidays, and we wish her every success in the new role.
“We look forward to announcing an incoming head of distribution in the coming days, to take our trade relationships forward as we look to further scale easyJet holidays into 2024 and beyond.”
Walker said: “I am delighted to be joining such a respected business and the TTC Tour Brands family. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and knowledge to the escorted touring sector and helping our valued trade partners in selling such a diverse range of tours.”
TTC Tour Brands has also recruited a national account manager who is yet to be announced, but will join the team in January.
Furthermore, the company is seeking a sales manager for southwest London to join its team.
