‘Peaks extended into April’ as Not Just Travel claims 40% sales hike

Not Just Travel believes peaks have extended into April with sales for the month claimed to be up by 40% year-on-year.

The increase in bookings also coincided with a 10% rise in average bookings values over April 2023.

The performance by the homeworking franchise group follows sales rising by more than 36% last year against 2022.

Co-founder Steve Witt said: “Traditionally, travel sales have spiked in the first quarter before dipping in April, but this year NJT sales have increased.

“Peaks is no longer a sprint, it’s an incredible marathon. Our consultants are busy all year-round; they’re loving the consistent flow of business.”

Consultant Ami Wood, who previously worked in administration and started her travel business “as a hobby”, made £270,000 of bookings in April alone.

She said: “Bookings have been phenomenal since I joined Not Just Travel in January 2022.

“I made £50,000 of bookings in my first week as a consultant and since then, things haven’t stopped.

“January and February were amazing months, but in April and May the bookings just keep flooding in.

“This is an incredible industry to work in. I’m loving the perks of being a self-employed travel homeworker, as well as all the lifestyle benefits too.”

Witt added: “Most other travel businesses in the UK do not turn over in one year what we’ve achieved in just a few months.

“Our 2024 sales performance is the culmination of NJT’s focused growth strategy – with more consultants, better training and on-boarding, our continued focus on cruise, the launch of the Wow Travel app and the exceptional service delivered by our travel consultants.”
