The JG Travel Group has launched festive brochures for Just Go Holidays and National Holidays in time for the key September booking month.
Each brochure features British and European coach breaks including Christmas markets, Turkey and Tinsel trips, Twixmas breaks and special festive events.
In the last two weeks, more than 45% of all trade bookings were for departures in November and December and this percentage is expected to increase further in the coming weeks.
Claire Dutton, trades sales manager at the JG Travel Group, said: “Whilst our festive programmes have been online for a while, we know that customers like to have a brochure they can browse and get inspiration for their breaks at Christmastime.
“This ensures agents have all the tools they need as we move into September which is our most popular booking month for our festive products.
“I think once the summer is over and the children and grandchildren have gone back to school, people turn their attention toward Christmas and start to make plans.
“Thinking about marketing festive breaks in August always seems strange, but agents really must start promoting these tours now before they sell out.”
National Holidays’ brochure will feature breaks to the Christmas markets in Worcester, Winchester and Canterbury for the first time this winter, plus a selection of new pre-Christmas turkey and tinsel breaks.
Prices for a two-day Worcester Christmas Market break start from £119, departing December 2.
To meet the growing demand for European breaks, Just Go! Holidays’ brochure includes new options including a trip to Cologne & Dusseldorf Christmas markets, a Christmas on Lake Garda break and a Christmas in the Black Forest break.
Prices start from £319pp for a four-day Cologne and Dusseldorf Christmas Markets trip, departing December 8.
Both brochures feature a page dedicated to longer duration, 14-day Christmas and New Year stays in Spain which launched a couple of months ago.
Different versions of the brochures have been created for the various pick-up regions to ensure agents have targeted products relevant to their market.
