Holland America Line releases 2024 Europe programme

Holland America Line has unveiled its Europe programme for next year, featuring cruises ranging from seven to 35 days.

The line’s Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam, Oosterdam and Zuiderdam ships will operate sailings in the British Isles; Canary Islands; French and Spanish rivieras; Mediterranean; and northern Europe between April and November.

The programme includes 11 departure ports and nine destinations where the ships will dock overnight.

Prices for the 14-day North Cape & The Midnight Sun sailing on Nieuw Statendam (pictured) departing from Copenhagen on September 7, 2024, start from £2,559.

Ports of call include Amsterdam, Dover, Cherbourg and Lisbon.

The line is offering seven and 11-day cruises between Copenhagen and Reykjavik for the first time.

Prices for the seven-day Norwegian & Icelandic Fjords sailing from Copenhagen departing on June 1, 2024, start from £1,379.

Ports of call include Oslo, Norway; Akureyri, and Isafjordur, both Iceland.

Bermuda has been added to two transatlantic itineraries from Fort Lauderdale.

In April, Nieuw Statendam crosses with visits to Bermuda, France, Guernsey and Belgium en route to Rotterdam, while Zuiderdam visits Bermuda, Ireland, England, France and Belgium on a May crossing to Ijmuiden in the Netherlands.

Prices for the 28-day Bermuda, Brittany & Canary Island Allure sailing, departing on April 7, start from £4,169.

Chief commercial officer Beth Bodensteiner said: “Holland America Line’s 2024 European season is the biggest refresh we’ve done in the region in a long time.

“We’re returning to the Canary Islands and Bermuda, and, of course, we’re back in the Med visiting everywhere from Spain to Turkey.”
