Hays Tour Operator (HTOL) has appointed Ross Fagan to the newly created role of trade engagement partner as it seeks to build awareness of the brand.
Fagan began his career with Hays Travel on a two-year digital marketing apprenticeship, before spending five years in the group’s virtual contact centre.
His new position will involve boosting HTOL’s engagement with existing agent partners across Hays Travel’s divisions, as well as building brand awareness within the travel sector.
HTOL head of sales Kathleen Molloy said: “I am delighted to welcome Ross into the HTOL team. This is an exciting new position and I’m confident Ross will use his considerable experience in travel to help build awareness of the HTOL brand, develop skills within the team and grow our online business.”
HTOL said its team of product and sales specialists create “unique tailormade holidays”, with customers including Hays Travel retail branches, franchisees, personal travel consultants, Hays Travel Independence Group members and independent agents.
