G Adventures’ agent reward programme is offering 15 agents from UK and Ireland the chance to win a place on the Change Makers GX Summit, taking place later this year.
Last year’s summit took place in Peru, with agents, suppliers, media and travellers from around the world (pictured).
Agents will again be able to earn their way to the Change Makers GX Summit, which will be held in a yet-to-be-revealed destination later in 2024.
The 15 agents will be a part of a contingent of 75 winners from around the globe who will help celebrate the impact of community tourism.
The Change Makers challenge runs until May 31 and encourages agents to “focus on changing people’s lives through travel by booking G Adventures trips”.
Agents at the Change Makers GX Summit will see how their work supports local communities in the destinations G Adventures visits.
The Change Makers reward programme runs alongside the You Belong with G Experience initiative which is offering tickets to the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.
To be eligible to earn a space, agents automatically receive one entry per ‘life changed’/traveller booked.
The top 10 agents from each region will qualify, with an additional five ‘wildcard’ spaces available to each region to allocate to agents who commit to changing someone’s life by making at least one G Adventures booking, as well as meeting certain wildcard incentive rules.
The wildcard challenges for 2024 include completing G-learning training modules, fundraising for G Adventures’ non-profit partner, Planeterra, opportunities for “first time” booking agents to win a place at the GX Summit, as well as an overall reward for the agent who has changed the most lives from June 1, 2023, to May 31.
