Freebird Airlines claims to have secured “much improved” slots from Gatwick to Antalya for this summer.
The Turkish carrier, which began operating the route in 2022, said 79% of daily flights will have more convenient schedules this year compared with 2023.
Daily flights start on May 20 and continue until the end of October, with the summer programme having been launched in September last year.
Carl Denton, the airline’s head of UK sales, said he felt “very confident” about this summer, pointing to the improved slots and recent booking figures.
“Early indications for sales during the strong January and February period have been extremely encouraging,” he said.
Freebird’s 13-strong international fleet consists of Airbus A320s.
