European Sleeper expands distribution with Trainline collaboration

European Sleeper is expanding its distribution with tickets being made available on the Trainline independent rail and bus travel platform.

The ‘Good Night Train’ by community-owned co-operative European Sleeper connects four capitals across Europe.

The night train operates three times a week between Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin, Dresden and Prague.

London and Paris are connected via a transfer in Brussels.

Company co-founder Chris Engelsman said: “Joining forces with Trainline is a significant milestone for European Sleeper.

“By making our tickets available on the leading independent rail and bus travel platform, we can offer a seamless and convenient booking

experience, encouraging more people to choose night trains as a comfortable and eco-conscious way to explore Europe.”

The ‘Good Night Train’ offers a range of options from standard shared seating and sleeping compartments to private compartments for one to six people and women-only compartments.

A dining car is to be added in a pilot scheme between September 1 and November 1, made possible through recent investment in European Sleeper shares.

The success of the trial could see the dining car become a permanent feature.

European Sleeper has operated a night train between Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin since the end of May 2023, which was extended to Dresden and Prague in March.

Since the start of the operations, European Sleeper has been transported more than 55,000 passengers on over 260 services.
