Düsseldorf Airport has celebrated the inaugural flights of two new airlines: Blue Air and Air Albania.
Blue Air has launched a three times weekly service to Bucharest. The route will increase to five times weekly from 30 May 2022. It will be a significant addition to Eurowings’ five times weekly service to Bucharest, serving the demand of the many Romanians in Düsseldorf Airport’s catchment area. Düsseldorf Airport organised a traditional Fire Truck Water Arch for the arrival of the first flight.
Meanwhile, Air Albania has launched a three times weekly service from Düsseldorf to Tirana. Düsseldorf Airport celebrated with an inaugural flight ceremony.
