Classic Collection Holidays is launching a booking incentive for agents to be in with a chance of winning a Vespa.
Bookings must be made to selected hotels between April 11 and May 31. The winner from the grand draw will be able to choose the model and colour of their Italian scooter.
“It’s our biggest ever incentive giveaway,” said Si Morris-Green, director of agency sales and marketing. “Every booking that qualifies for a ticket will go into a ballot, and we’ll pick a person each week who will then go into the grand draw which is on June 10.”
“It’s something quirky; it’s different.”
The incentive coincides with the launch of Classic Collection’s new Italy brochure. The tour operator has taken 27 agents out to Sorrento to mark its launch.
“It’s the first time we’ve come overseas to launch a brochure,” added Morris-Green. “We’re all about doing something different. We want to bring the brochure alive, bring the country to our agents.”
The Italy brochure now features 188 properties, 42 of which are new additions.
Last week, Classic launched a destination guide to the Caribbean to help travel agents sell the region. The 52-page guide showcases twin and multi-centre island-hopping combinations.
