Calling all air transport industry runners to join ‘Aviation Industry Race for Ukrainian Children with Cancer’ at British-Irish Airports EXPO

anna.aero is calling all air transport industry runners to run 5k at this year’s British Irish-Airports EXPO to help rescue Ukrainian Children with Cancer.
We all want to do more for Ukraine – and now you can. At 17:30 on 22 June 2022, at the end of the first day of the British-Irish Airports EXPO at ExCeL London, a midsummer evening 5km charity run is being staged from the exhibition around Docklands and Royal Docks right next door to London City Airport. The aim is for 1,000 industry runners and £50,000 – donations have already surpassed £10,000.

“I lost my 12-year-old daughter, Brontë, to leukaemia after everything possible had been done to save her. So I cannot possibly imagine the torment felt by the families of Ukrainian child cancer sufferers, now that much of Ukraine’s child oncology infrastructure has been wilfully destroyed.”
Paul Hogan, Event Director, British-Irish Airports EXPO
