Attraction World Group hires Scotland and N Ireland trade executive

Amy Murphy is joining Attraction World Group’s retail team in the newly-created role of business engagement executive for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

She has worked in the travel industry a decade, mainly with independent travel agents in Northern Ireland. 

Her roles have included as a homeworker for 7Holidays as well as at Feherty Travel, Virgin Holidays, Rosetta Travel and Clubworld Travel.

Head of retail Kelly Hayre said: “We have been searching for the right candidate for many months now and thrilled that Amy came forward; she is exactly what we were looking for. 

“Amy has demonstrated such a passion for the industry, we can’t wait to see her in action, she will be an incredible addition to the team. 

“We have been missing presence in Scotland and Northern Ireland since pre-Covid and are thrilled to be able to get back to this fantastic region. 

“Our retail partners continue to be at the heart of what we do and it’s time to re-engage and rebuild our foundations within Scotland and Northern Ireland.” 

Murphy, who starts in October, said: “My family, spreading across many generations, have been in the travel industry representing luxury cruise and long-haul operators for many years. 

“I followed in their footsteps and feel that travel is definitely my industry. 

“I’m so excited to get to know the Attraction World brand even more and to meet the whole team, there is so much to learn. More crucially, I’m ready to hit the ground running and start maximising brand awareness of Attraction World within my Scotland and Northern Ireland region.”
